Here is a detailed list of work done in our typical refurbishing process:
Replace bad circuit boards and rebuild bad connectors as necessary.
Add remote battery or NVRAM. (Batteries leak ACID — REMOVE NOW — A MUST)
Replace backbox incandescent bulbs with LED BULBS (Optional)
Clean translite and translite glass.
Replace translite trim if needed.
Replace playfield glass if scratched. (Optional) (We even sell HD Glass — ASK US)
Vacuum inside of cabinet. (9/10 Pinball machines are full of old parts/fuses)
Print new rule card for apron.
Replace playfield incandescent bulbs with LED BULBS (Optional) — This is a MUST for efficiency.
Reflow lamp board connections if needed.
Replace or repair broken scoops if needed.
Do full playfield teardown, Clean/Wax and Re-rubber.
Replace star posts/lane guides if needed.
Clean plastics, ramps etc. and reassemble. Replace broken plastics if available.
Rebuild flippers/switches if needed.
Install new balls. (Pinballs get pitted/rusted)
Replace legs and levelers if needed (Optional) — This is so important.
Replace lock and keys to coin door and backbox if needed.
Do thorough playtesting and make any final adjustments.
